American cartoonist, Scott Adams, once said, "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." Art is a continual learning process. No matter what learning level you are at in using colored pencils, mistakes can happen, especially during trial and error. Sometimes, those artistic mistakes, are not really mistakes, but a door opening wide up to a possible new colored pencil method or technique. It's learning from our mistakes and helping other artists along our artistic journey that we can learn and grow as artists. There are many resources on colored pencil available to those who want to learn all about this versatile medium. For those interested, there are few colored pencil resources listed in the reference section or in the colored pencil tutorials link section. Also, be sure and visit the colored pencil resource section on all of the wonderful and very talented colored pencil artists.
