
COMMISSION FAQS
A custom portrait can be created from photographs that you provide.
I use multiple layers of color to capture detail, the spirit and personality of each subject.
All portraits are done either in color pencil or a combination of color pencil/watercolor pencils on Stonehenge, Canson Mi Tientes or bristol.
The following is a list of frequently asked questions.

• I will need approximately 3-6 good photos of the
subject to be drawn.
• Please refer to the price list link below for the cost of the portrait. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required with the order.
• Commissions are handled on a first come, first serve basis. Completion times are estimated based on the receipt of the images or photographs, the size and detail of the portrait.
• I will contact you via e-mail or by phone to acknowledge your order and to discuss specifics about the portrait. Also, I will give you an approximate date as to when you can expect the finished work.
• I will post the progress of the commission at my new works page, allowing you the opportunity to view the progress of the portrait.
• Once the portrait is complete, you will be sent a scanned image for your approval. Once I receive the remaining amount due for the commission, I will mail you the the artwork along with any photos sent.
• Method of payments: US check or money order, credit card payment through PayPal. There is a waiting period on all checks, till the check has cleared before I start on the portrait.
• A $30.00 fee will be charged for non-negotiable
checks.
