I purchased my first set of Berol colored pencils back in 1983, for
an illustration class in art college. I never really got to open
them up in class, because I had to drop out of art school, due to
financial problems. So, when I did open them up and started
experimenting and exploring with colored pencils, I was on my own.
I had no teacher to explain or guide me on how to use this
medium. Over the years, I have come to find out that color pencils are a very non-forgiving medium. However, I find working with color pencil to be extremely fulfilling and uplifting. The medium allows me to ever explore, to ever learn, and to ever challenge myself as an artist. Now, I wish to share everything that I have learned with other artists out there, who might be in the very same dilemma as I was, after I left art school. If you have any colored pencil tips or techniques you would like me to add, or if you see some tip or technique I have not credited properly, please email me at info@mooresartgallery.com |
